The USC Trojans have been on a mission to flip some top-tier talent as we approach national signing day. They already flipped 5-star QB Husan Longstreet from Texas A&M, and 4-star OT Alex Payne from North Carolina, with more on the way.
However, there is one local prospect that they don’t need to flip as he still remains uncommitted. In fact, 4-star JSerra LB Madden Faraimo is the highest-rated uncommitted prospect remaining.
Per On3 Industry Rankings, Faraimo is the 77th-ranked overall prospect and the 4th-ranked LB in the country.
So why hasn’t Faraimo committed anywhere yet? His response in an interview with On3 is a good one.
In an age when so many kids commit and then de-commit, Faraimo wants to make his decision just one time, and that decision will be final.

Currently, most of the predictions out there have Notre Dame as the heavy favorite to land Faraimo, with USC in 2nd, but the Trojans may end up with a bit of an EDGE.
USC Trojans Have Edge To Land Madden Faraimo?
Faraimo told On3 that he will be taking his final visit of the cycle and it will be to USC next week. Ironically, USC plays Notre Dame at the Coliseum, so strategically, Faraimo will get a look at both teams, but the Trojans are working to make it an Official Visit so that they can leave one final impression and show all that the program has to offer.
The USC Trojans currently have three linebackers committed to the 2025 class. 4-star Matai Tagoa’i out of San Clemente, CA, 4-star Ty Jackson out of Seminole Ridge, FL, and 4-star Jadon Perlotte out of Buford, GA.
Faraimo would be the third highest-rated prospect in the Trojans 2025 class, which currently ranks 12th in the Country.
