Husan Longstreet Bringing Elite Recruits With Him To USC Trojans?

5-Star Quarterback Husan Longstreet has been committed to the USC Trojans for just over a week and it looks like he may already be convincing other elite prospects to join him.

Most home games this season have seen an impressive list of hosted recruits and last Saturday against Nebraska at the Coliseum was no different.

One of those recruits, along with Longstreet, was 2026 5-star athlete Brandon Arrington, out of Mount Miguel, CA.

Arrington has not committed to a program yet, but he is heavily favored to end up at Texas A&M, the school Longstreet was previously committed to.

Kendell Hollowell of USC Trojans on SI recently spoke with Longstreet:

“Brandon Arrington is one of the big ones,” Longstreet said. “I actually started to get close with him. I’ve seen him a lot of and did not expect to see him at the USC game, but I seen him there, so we’re just kind of chilling. And then once I committed, he had text me the eyes emoji, like he’s gonna do it next. So we’ll see about that. I think that’s a close one that would be we should get to.”

You could feel a jolt of momentum when USC was able to flip Longstreet, and if he is already actively talking to local talent about joining him at SC, it could really boost the efforts of the staff.

In the same interview, Longstreet expanded on some of his thoughts on the 2025 recruiting class.

“We still gotta recruit some of these guys, a big one we’re looking at is Jahkeem Stewart right now,” Longstreet said. “We got a few o-lineman we’re trying to recruit. I feel like this class is gonna be really big.”

Jahkeem Stewart is one of the top remaining uncommitted prospects in the 2025 class. If Longstreet can help finalize his commitment, he will become an LA legend very quickly.
