The USC Trojans continue their pursuit of filling out their 2025 recruiting class. Just yesterday, a prediction was put in that the Trojans would land 5-star DL Jahkeem Stewart.

Now they are in pursuit of another East Coast defensive line prospect that would certainly boost the DL room and fortify the class.

Christian Ingram, a 3-star prospect on On3, but a 4-star on Rivals and ESPN is set to take an official visit this weekend as the Trojans are set to take on their rival Notre Dame.

Christian Ingram Set To Visit USC Trojans

Ingram was originally set to visit Vanderbilt but looks like he has now changed that as Coach Henny and the Trojans look to earn his commitment right before signing day.

Ingram has not committed to any school yet, but he is heavily favored to stay in SEC country. Per On3, South Carolina is the heavy favorite with Georgia, Vanderbilt, and Kentucky lurking in the wings.

USC has had a lot of success in Georgia earning commitments after official visits, but unfortunately, almost all of those commitments have flipped in favor of local SEC schools. Will Ingram buck that trend and commit to the Cardinal and Gold and officially sign?

The 6’5.5, 280-pound DL would be the 3rd defensive lineman in the 2025 class, with the potential of Jahkeem Stewart joining the room, as well.

All of USC’s defensive line prospects are from SEC country. It’s good to get players away from SEC opponents, but the amount of flips that have occurred demonstrates the importance of prioritizing local talent that is more likely to stay committed.

But as a player, Ingram would be a great prospect who would flourish under the tutelage of Coach Henny and Coach Nua.

This final game against Notre Dame is going to be a massive weekend for final visits. Will USC knock it out of the park again?
